Surrender

Surrender is an adjective for serving loyalty (cf. the old letter closing formula with sincere greetings or I remain as your devoted servant ).

Surrender as a verb means to submit to something (see surrender to one's fate ) or to surrender . In the older sense - then also positively like in the song I have surrendered  - it means to surrender.
