Erhard Weigel Society

The Erhard Weigel Society e. V. is a scientific society founded on December 11, 2003 with headquarters in Jena . As a non-profit association, it pursues the goal of “researching the scholarly republic of the early modern period with special reference to the life and work of Erhard Weigel ”. To this end, it organizes lectures, promotes studies on the above-mentioned subject area, issues publications, supports exhibitions, cooperates with institutions and societies with similar goals and organizes conferences at regular intervals, each dedicated to individual thematic aspects from the work of Erhard Weigel.
