Eric Sucky

Eric Sucky (born August 23, 1968 ) is a German logistics scientist. He holds the chair for business administration, in particular production and logistics, at the University of Bamberg .

Life

After completing an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk after graduating from high school, Sucky studied business administration at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. He received his doctorate in 2003, was then an assistant professor in Frankfurt and completed his habilitation in 2007.

Sucky has published in a large number of well-known journals, including the International Journal of Production Economics , Computers & Operations Research and the European Journal of Operational Research .

Awards

Sucky received several awards including

  • the 2004 dissertation award from the Society for Operations Research e. V. and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) Frankfurt am Main
  • the award of the Hessian Administration and Business Academy for outstanding achievements in teaching as the best lecturer (2004 and 2005 and 2006)
