Erich Asmussen
Erich Asmussen (born June 11, 1922 , † 1964 ) was a German football referee.
In 1959 he whistled the final of the German championship between Eintracht Frankfurt and Kickers Offenbach in Berlin in front of 75,000 spectators.
He also directed a number of national and international games. He was also used in the then European Cup of National Champions.
Erich Asmussen has been commissioned by FIFA to lead international matches in Spain, England and Holland.
Asmussen came from Flensburg.
