Erikas Mačiūnas

Erikas Mačiūnas (born September 9, 1955 in Klaipėda ) is a Lithuanian doctor and politician.

Life

After graduating from secondary school, in 1979 he graduated from the Vilniaus universitetas with a degree in medicine . From 1991 to 1996 he was director of the Center for Hygiene , from 1997 director of the Center for Environmental Health. Since 2013 he has been Lithuania's Deputy Minister of Health in the Butkevičius cabinet (16th government).
