Ernst Friedrich Pfeiffer Prize

The Ernst Friedrich Pfeiffer Prize is a research prize awarded in Germany that has been awarded - usually annually - by the German Diabetes Society to scientists under 40 years of age since 1998 . Research work in the field of "type 1 diabetes" will be recognized. The foundation sum of € 10,000 is provided by Lilly Germany . The dedication name goes back to the endocrinologist Ernst-Friedrich Pfeiffer .
