Vibration resistance refers to the durability of a technical device or other product in the event of vibration or extremely high short-term acceleration or deceleration, for example in the form of a shock.

Shock resistance covers both a single shock and vibration as a shock. However, sometimes the shock is referred to separately as "shock resistance".
