Education register

The education register is part of the federal central register , which contains decisions and orders against a person under juvenile criminal law. The legal basis is the Federal Central Register Act (BZRG).

The following decisions and orders are entered in the education register:

  • Measures according to § 3 JGG ,
  • Acquittal for lack of maturity and the termination of the proceedings for this reason,
  • Order of educational measures or breeding materials (§ 9 to 16 JGG),
  • Decisions of the family and care court according to §§ 1666 Abs. 1, 1666a, as well as § 1837 Abs. 4 BGB
  • Refusal of prosecution according to § 45 JGG (requirements according to § 153 StPO fulfilled)
  • Termination of the proceedings by the judge.

Are information Entitled the criminal courts , prosecutors' offices , the authorities of the prison system , the family and guardianship courts which are entrusted with the care of the person youth offices , responsible for the issuing of weapons and explosives permits authorities and the grace authorities .

All entries are removed at the age of 24 if no custodial , youth sentence or criminal arrest is entered in the central register. Entries in the education register do not have to be disclosed.
