Esperantista Literatura Asocio

The Esperanto Literature Association ( Esperanto : Esperantista Literatura Asocio, ELA ) was founded at the 7th Esperanto World Congress in 1911 as the International Association of Esperanto Authors (Internacia Unuiĝo de Esperantistaj Verkistoj) and renamed ELA in 1912. The aim was to represent the interests of Esperanto authors as well as linguistic control of manuscripts. The association was dissolved at the end of the 1930s . Marie Hankel was co-founder and later chairwoman .
