The Estadio Kukulcán is a baseball stadium in Mérida , Yucatán , Mexico . The stadium is the home ground of the Leones de Yucatán from the Liga Mexicana de Béisbol (LMB).
The name of the stadium, Kukulcán , comes from Mayan mythology and means "the feathered serpent", god of resurrection and reincarnation.
The Estadio Kukulcán was opened on March 23, 1982, with the game of the Leones de Yucatán against the Piratas de Campeche . The stadium is one of the largest and most important baseball stadiums in Mexico .

The Estadio Kukulcán is part of the sports complex “Unidad Deportiva Kukulcán”, built in the 1980s, in the megacity of Mérida . The baseball culture has over 100 years of tradition in the Yucatán and is very popular.
The Leones de Yucatán have played in the LMB since 1954 . They have won three championship titles in 1957, 1984 and 2006 and five championship finals have been held at the Estadio Kukulcán since 1982.
The stadium comprises a lower and an upper rank and the seat stands behind the outer field boundary.
Concerts
The Estadio Kukulcán also hosts frequent pop concerts, such as the legendary concert by Mexican singer Fey during her 'Tierna La Noche' tour in 1996.
