Esteban De Iacovo , full name Esteban Carlos De Iacovo Steffano , (born September 22, 1996 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
The 1.80 meter tall defensive player De Iacovo initially played in youth football from 2010 to 2014 at the latest for Nacional Montevideo . Via the teams of the Septima División (2010), the Sexta División (2011), the U-16s (2012) and the Quinta División (2013), he joined the U-19 team of the Cuarta División in 2014. He has been playing for Juventud since 2015 and was a member of the U-19 (Cuarta División) and the Reserve (Formativas) in the Tercera División at the club from Las Piedras that year. He made his debut in the Primera División in the Apertura 2015 on November 8, 2015 in the 0-1 home defeat against Centro Atlético Fénix , when he was called into the starting line-up by coach Jorge Giordano . While he played five first division matches (no goal) in the 2015/16 season, he was not used in the following season in 2016.
