Eukles from Mylasa
Eukles von Mylasa ( Greek Εὐκλῆς ) was an Asian Minor - Hellenistic arch-builder of the 4th century BC. Chr.
Eukles of Mylasa came from Asia Minor, but was in the 4th century BC. Active in Kamiros on Rhodes . Pliny the Elder lists him in a chronological list of ore founders. Thus Eukles seems to have been a contemporary of Lysippus and to have been active during the 113th Olympiad (328-325 BC). He cast a statue of the Olympic champion Philocrates in Kamiros, modeled by Timagoras von Kamiros . Beyond that, nothing is known about this artist.
