Euphronios (poet)
The poet Euphronios was a representative of the ancient comedy . In 458 BC BC he won with an unnamed comedy title at the Great Dionysia of Athens , while Aeschylus won on the same occasion with his work Oresty in the field of tragedy. Today neither pieces, fragments nor titles of Euphronios' work have survived.
