European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology
The European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology (EAWOP) is the association of psychologists in Europe who are active in the field of work and organizational psychology ( business psychology) . It was founded in 1991 and is based in Rotterdam .
Member organizations in the German-speaking area are the ABO Psychology Section of the Professional Association of German Psychologists , the Professional Association of Austrian Psychologists and the Swiss Society for Work and Organizational Psychology.
The main purpose is to create networks between research and practice , to coordinate training and further education programs within Europe with the aim of mutual training recognition and the development of quality standards.
European congresses on industrial and organizational psychology take place every two years.
