eurotopics (own spelling: euro | topics) is a European press review published by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) . The online platform provides an overview of the debates that are taking place in Europe's media.

The aim of the press review is to reflect the diversity of opinions in Europe and to build bridges to other media worlds. Debates should be extracted from their national contexts and the discourse should be encouraged across national and linguistic borders.

For the press review, correspondents observe the print and online media of all EU countries, Russia, Switzerland, Turkey and the Ukraine and translate quotes from opinions from the entire political spectrum.

The press review appears from Monday to Friday in German, English, French, Turkish and Russian. The free offer appears online and as an email newsletter.

A database provides information on more than 500 print and online media from over 30 countries with information on the political profile, the publisher or publisher and the circulation figures. It also contains a detailed description of the media landscapes in Europe.

In 2009 euro | topics was nominated for the Grimme Online Award in the Information category.

Since May 2008 the journalist network n-ost (Berlin) has been producing the euro | topics offer. From the end of 2005 to April 2008, the press review was carried out by Perlentaucher Medien GmbH (Berlin) in collaboration with Courrier International (Paris).
