Eurydice (wife of Antipater)
Eurydice († after 287 BC) was a daughter of the Thracian king Lysimachus and Nicaea . She became the wife of the Macedonian king Antipater I , son of Cassander .
Antipater could not prevail in the power struggle against Demetrios I Poliorketes and fled in 293 BC. BC with his wife Eurydice to their father Lysimachos, from whom he expected help for his return to Macedonia. But his hopes were disappointed. After Demetrios' expulsion in 287 BC BC Lysimachos shared Macedonia with the Molossian king Pyrrhus of Epirus. But Antipater again made claims, with his wife vehemently agreeing with him. Thereupon Lysimachus ordered the execution of his son-in-law and the imprisonment of his own daughter Eurydice.
