Euskalmet

Euskalmet is a Basque weather service based in Vitoria-Gasteiz .

Euskalmet was founded in 1990 by the Basque government as the Basque Meteorological Commission . The name is made up of parts of the Basque names Euskal and Met eorologia Agentzia.

The acting director is Pedro Anitua Aldekoa, who is led by Estefanía Beltrán de Heredia (Security Advisor to the Basque Government).

The meteorological services and information that the Directorate of Emergency Supply and Meteorology makes available to citizens, businesses and administrations also includes issuing certificates of the meteorological data collected, in particular to insurance companies and courts in the event of damage.
