Evangelical Church Duchroth
The Protestant church in Duchroth is a Gothic hall by Karl Schenkel .
history
The church was built from 1908 to 1910 by the architect Karl Schenkel from Munich-Pasing , who had participated in several competitions in the Palatinate. He created a broad hall building , the outer walls of which with an asymmetrical gable facade and a laterally offset tower and an open vestibule placed at an angle between them make a picturesque impression. Last but not least, the crowning of the tower with a Welschen hood and attached lantern contributes to this. Otherwise the pointed arch motif predominates in the windows.
The clockwork in the tower is historic and has to be wound by hand every day.
