history

Two windows were transferred from the previous building erected in 1858 and demolished in 1965 into the sacristy of the new parish church. The church building as a functionalist concrete building with a tower was built in 1966 according to the plans of the architect Herbert Fritscher-Notthaft.

architecture

The facade, which is large-square with pilaster strips and empty areas, ends with window strips in molded concrete and stained glass. The bell house of the tower was held in concrete-stone tracery and houses three steel bells as chimes.

The interior presents itself as a sparse room with a visible roof structure and simple seating. On the front wall there is a figure of Christ Blessing by the sculptor Matthias Hietz.
