The Evangelical Hospital in Düsseldorf is an acute hospital with ten specialist departments and a total of 513 beds. It is supported by the Düsseldorf Evangelical Hospital Foundation.

history

It all began in a house founded on October 1st, 1849 by evangelical citizens of the city of Düsseldorf at Berger Strasse 18. In 1866, the company moved to Fürstenwall. In 1966 work began on the eight-story building on Kirchfeldstrasse. In 2005 the extension on Kronenstrasse was built. In 2016 we moved into an extension on Florastraße.

Facility

A children's clinic belongs to the house. Every year 3500 children and adolescents from 0 to 18 years of age are treated inpatients and 6000 outpatients. The clinic has 52 beds, including 16 in the day care clinic. As a level 1 perinatal center, the clinic specializes in the care of premature babies. In addition to the psychosomatic day care clinic, the child protection outpatient clinic, the social pediatric center and the parents' school are part of the children's clinic.
