Winner of the Evening Standard British Film Awards in the category Best Comedy ( Best Comedy ), which separately 1974-1981 in addition to the prize for the Best Film was awarded. The British Film Prize selects the best national film productions (including co-productions) and filmmakers from the previous calendar year and is usually awarded at the beginning of February.
