Evlek

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Evlek was a Turkish unit of area and was valid in Turkey and also in Serbia . It can be translated as bed or furrow.

According to other sources:

  • 1 Evlek = ¼ Dönüm = 302 square meters

In both cases 1 Dönüm = 4 Evlek. The difference corresponds to the different sizes of the Dönüm ( Dunam ) in the Ottoman Empire.
