Georg Michael Took

Georg Michael Nahm (born October 23, 1803 in Kriegsfeld ; † February 1834 in Frankfurt am Main ) was a German revolutionary and participant in the Frankfurt Wachensturm .

Life

Georg Nahm, the son of a forester, attended grammar school in Speyer and studied law in Würzburg , where he was a member of the Corps Rhenania . In 1828 he moved to Heidelberg , where he joined the Old Heidelberg Burschenschaft in 1828 . In October 1829 he continued his studies in Erlangen and was there in 1829 a member of the Germania Erlangen fraternity . After completing his studies, he became a teacher at the educational institute of Dr. Bunsen in Frankfurt am Main. He was actively involved in the Frankfurt Wachensturm , was arrested and died in custody in February 1834.
