Ewian is a German music project by the artist Ewian Christensen.

Band history

The project bears the first name of the mainly responsible artist Ewian Christensen. In 2013 the debut EP We Will Never Grow Old was released. Christensen is responsible for singing, piano, sound composition and songwriting. He was supported by Benjamin Lachance, who was at his side with advice and studio recordings (electric guitar). In October 2013 the single Voices In Your Head followed .

The album Good Old Underground ( Timezone Records ), released in 2014, is the first publication available on audio CD. It contains ten songs, some of which were created through collaboration with international artists, such as the Chinese-born electronic artist Fifi Rong. Benjamin Lachance was also involved in this album through studio recordings and compositional advice.

Stylistically, Ewian can be assigned to the genres of post-rock , alternative rock and shoegazing . Ewian himself describe her style as "Dream Noise".

The album Good Old Underground received a number of positive reviews internationally. The strong "noisy" character and that the sound was overloaded was criticized from time to time. For the fourth album Of Those Who Drown to Live , Ewian Christensen shot a total of 12 music videos and thus fulfilled a small dream. The work is illustrated by a video story that was worked on for a total of three years.
