The original Exceet Group (formerly AEM Technologies ) was created in Switzerland under the leadership of the private equity company Ventizz by buying up a number of electronics providers. In July 2011, today's Exceet Group SE was created through the takeover of the original Swiss Exceet Group AG by Helikos SE. Helikos was placed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in January 2010 as a so-called special-purpose acquisition company with the support of the French investment company Wendel . After the transaction was completed, Helikos took over the Exceet name.
Exceet's shares are listed in the Prime Standard segment of the regulated market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The main shareholders are White Elephant S.à rl (Active Ownership Fund) with 56.1%, Argos Funds & Quaero Funds with 12.8% and Heidelberger Beteiligungsholding AG with 7.4 and VM Holding GmbH & Co. KG with 5.6% . In free float are 14.5% of the shares.
