Fårikål

Fårikål (in German about sheep in cabbage ) is a traditional meat dish in Norwegian cuisine , which consists of sheep or lamb, white cabbage and unground black pepper. All ingredients are cooked together in a saucepan. This stew is served with boiled potatoes. Fårikål is considered the Norwegian national dish and was last confirmed in this role in 2014 as part of an election organized by the Ministry of Agriculture.
