Joining by archetype

The joining by primary shaping is a group of manufacturing processes from the main group , add the methods of primary shaping uses.

The primary forming processes (in particular casting and sintering) can be used to attach a supplementary work piece to a workpiece with a geometrically defined shape that is formed from shapeless material (melt, powder, etc.) or to connect two workpieces to one another, for example when both are cast around. In addition, the shapeless substance can be introduced into cavities of a workpiece in order to increase the strength.

Joining by primary molding includes pouring , embedding , overmolding , pouring , vulcanizing , potting , galvanizing , sheathing and cementing .
