Effects with and without inserted guide tube

As a guide tube (also (spindle) reducing tube or spindle insert tube are called) in the cutting guide members production of lathes designated. They are used to in the main spindle which projects rod material center , as it is the case for long workpieces that must be processed only by a small length. They are also used for machines with automatic rod supply through the spindle. The imbalance adhering to the material causes vibrations that are detrimental to the tool and the spindle bearing. The results are an optimized manufacturing process, higher possible speeds and better surface quality on the workpiece (turned part).
