Fifth crusade

The following crusades are counted together as the Fifth Crusade :

• Crusade of Damiette (1217–1221)
• Crusade of Frederick II (1228–1229)

According to another count, the Damiette Crusade is also counted as an independent Fifth Crusade - the Crusade of Frederick II then consequently as the Sixth Crusade. The number of the later crusades then shifts accordingly.
