Fūga-wakashū

Fuga Wakashū ( Jap. : 風雅和歌集 also: 風雅集 Fugashū , dt about. Collection tasteful poetry ) is a Waka - Anthology , by the Tennō Hanazono was given (1297-1348) commissioned and completed in about 1325-26.

Tennō Hanazono also wrote the Chinese and Japanese foreword. The anthology comprises 20 roles with a total of 2,210 waka. It is the last significant Waka anthology to be created on the orders of an emperor.
