Next Generation Air Dominance

Next Generation Air Dominance ( NGAD ), formerly F / A-XX, is the name of a US Navy development and procurement program for a next-generation fighter aircraft . It is to replace the F / A-18E / F Super Hornet from 2025 . Depending on the mission, the aircraft should operate manned or unmanned .
