The FC Herisau is a football club in Switzerland from Herisau in Canton Appenzell Outer Rhodes .

The club achieved its highest placements between 1986 and 1993 and between 2004 and 2006, when it belonged to the 1st division , the fourth highest division in Switzerland. In addition to various junior and senior teams, three teams were active in the men's division by the end of the 2018/2019 season. Two active teams have been registered since the 2019/2020 season. The first men's team plays in the 3rd division, the seventh highest division in Switzerland, and the second men's team in the 4th division.

After the first men's team was relegated from the 2nd division to the 3rd division in 2019, there was a change. The second team was relegated to the 4th division, the third team disbanded. President Rocco Lavanga announced that he would step down at the general meeting in February 2020. Luigi Di Cola and Pascal Herrmann took up a co-presidency as successors.

Stadion

FC Herisau plays its home games on the Ebnet sports field. The capacity is 1,200 spectators, excluding standing room.
