The FC Kochin is a football club in India . FC Kochin is based in Kochi ( Kerala ) and played in the highest league in Kerala for a long time. In the 2005/2006 season, FC Kochin did not report any team to the championship. However, they have announced a new team for the next season. With Viva Kerala , a competing club has been based in the city since 2004 .
FC Kochin played in the late 1990s and early 2000 as the only Keralesian football club in the National Football League , the highest class.
In 1997 the club was able to win the Durand Cup for the first time .
