The FC Türkiye Wilhelmsburg (full name: Football Club Türkiye Wilhelmsburg 2000 eV ) is a sports club from the Hamburg district of Wilhelmsburg . The first soccer team made it into the fifth-class Oberliga Hamburg in 2015 .
history
The club was founded in 2000 by Turks living in Hamburg and just five years later made it into the district league. There succeeded as runner-up in the national league . After a tenth place in the promotion season, Wilhelmsburg had to go back down to the district league in 2008. This was followed by direct promotion to the regional league, where the team finished fourth in 2010 and 2012. Finally, the team became champions in 2015 and rose to the top division. Three years later, the Wilhelmsburger rose again from the state league.
