FOSSASIA
FOSSASIA is a non-profit organization founded in 2009 by Hong Phuc Dang and Mario Behling with headquarters in the Blk71 business incubator in Singapore . One month after the Asian New Year, FOSSASIA holds a conference on free and open source software (FOSS) every year , to which developers such as Lennart Poettering were invited as speakers. The goal of FOSSASIA is to support social change using free software.
FOSSASIA has been involved in the Google Summer of Code since 2011 and in Google Code-in since 2014 as a regional host for the South and East Asia region.
