FS 272

The Italian state railways Ferrovie dello Stato (FS) ran ten German steam locomotives as class 272 , which were given to Italy as reparations after the end of the First World War.

In detail, there are machines of three Prussian types:

• 272.001–002 corresponded to the Prussian G 4.1
• 272.003–004 were Prussian G 4
• 272.005–010 came from the Prussian G 4.2
