Map of the Comunità

The Comunità Montana della Riviera Spezzina was a Comunità montana in the northern Italian region of Liguria . Politically, it belonged to the province of La Spezia and was made up of the seven municipalities of Bonassola , Deiva Marina , Framura , Levanto , Monterosso al Mare , Riomaggiore and Vernazza .

geography

The territory of the administrative community extended from Deiva Marina, the westernmost municipality in the province of La Spezia, to Riomaggiore, the easternmost municipality in the Cinque Terre . The Comunità Montana comprised communities on the coastline as well as communities in the mountainous hinterland of the province. As a result, their territory offered a variety of different landscapes, with picturesque cliffs and vineyards on the Ligurian Sea and characteristic wooded areas inland.

A regional law from 2010 abolished the Comunità montane of the Liguria region. The administrative community is in liquidation.
