Technical vocabulary

As terminology or vocabulary refers to the words of jargon . The individual words are therefore technical terms. They are also known as termini technici . Specialized vocabularies often differ significantly from the common language vocabulary. Individual words can have completely different meanings and in most cases a very large number of technical terms can only be understood by experts who know the associated terms.

Technical vocabulary is documented in specialist dictionaries . Since these are mostly high-precision terms that are designated with technical terms, they are particularly suitable for precise translation into other languages. For this reason, many specialist dictionaries are multilingual .
