Thread system

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In textile production, a thread system describes a group of threads positioned in the same way in a fabric .

The warp and weft each form a thread system. If fabrics have several thread systems, a group of warp and / or weft threads, although inserted one after the other, are pushed over one another by the weaving technique, they are no longer in one plane.
