Fakel Novy Urengoy ( Russian Факел Новый Уренгой ) is a Russian volleyball club from Novy Urengoy in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug , founded in 1992.

Volleyball men

The men have been playing in the Russian Super League since 1997, where they finished third in 2008/09. In the 2006/07 season the team won the European CEV Cup . In 2017 they won the competition again.

Volleyball women

The women have been playing in the Russian Super League since 1992, but had to be relegated several times. In 1999/2000 they reached the quarter-finals in the European CEV Cup , where they lost to Günes Sigorta Istanbul . Since 2010 they have been playing in the super league again.
