Falling in Love is a song by the British R&B and pop singer Taio Cruz (name shown on the single cover with TΛIO CRUZ). The single was released in America and Spain, among others, but was not available in many European countries. Taio Cruz and Alan Kasirye wrote the lyrics to the song and produced the music. The single was available for download on April 15, 2012 .
Music video
The music video was first released on YouTube on February 18, 2011. It received over 32,200 views by September 2012. The video shows Cruz in a hotel apartment, sitting at a piano and singing. After about a minute he leaves the apartment and comes to a roof. Lights go on and off everywhere and people watch this. The live version of the song got the most clicks on YouTube, which had over 107,500 views in September 2012.
Charts
In Belgium (Flanders), Falling in Love reached number five and stayed in the charts for a total of five weeks. In Belgium (Wallonia) the song reached number 24, where it stayed in the charts for four weeks.
criticism
Ash Dosanjh from NME said that Falling in Love showed his real talent instead of changing vocals and considered the song to be one of the better ones from the album, which he rated with four out of ten stars overall. Mikael Wood from The Phoenix described the song as a "power ballad".
