Drop mouth

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Case mouth referred to in the blasting those gap in the blasting are first blown up by towers or other high buildings in the building needs, so that they fall into the thus determined direction.

In the case of towers or chimneys, 55% of the circumference is removed by the blast. This is done by using detonators by blowing open the drop mouth from the center outwards. The building can no longer stand on the remaining 45% of the circumference, so that it collapses over the tilting edge.
