Fan-out effect
Under the fan-out effect ( engl. Fanning ) is understood in the offset printing method , the width extension of the paper by dampening or tension on the paper during printing. Due to the elongation of the paper which passes through the multi-color printing individually the ink rollers, arise misregistration caused by an electronic control of the paper flow within the machine can be corrected.
