The  Augusta Stallions  were an  arena football team from Augusta, Georgia that played in  af2  . The Stallions played their home games at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center .

history

The Stallions were founded in 1999 and started as one of the fifteen participating franchises in the newly founded af2 in 2000.

Although the Stallions racked up 35 wins in 48 games in three years, the franchise only reached the playoffs twice. The semifinals were only reached once. In 2000 they lost to the Tennessee Valley Vipers 40:47.

After the 2002 season, the franchise was dissolved.
