The color tower is a corner tower in Brugg in the canton of Aargau . It was built in 1522/25.

description

The color tower is a three-quarter round corner tower from 1522/25. The tower was designed to defend the city wall with small, irregularly distributed notches. The battlement over the moss cornice was originally crowned with battlements . The tower is not closed on the inside and is embedded in the old city wall.
