The Faro beer

Faro is the name of a spontaneous lambik beer from Brussels , in which, after various lambiks have been blended with Geuze, candy sugar is added for further bottle fermentation . Because of this ingredient, the Faro has a sweetish taste. The alcohol content of the beer is 4.5 to 5.5%.

Since November 21, 1997, the traditional composition or the traditional manufacturing process of the product has been protected as a guaranteed traditional specialty (TSG) .
