Faustus Cornelius Sulla (suffect consul 31)
Faustus Cornelius Sulla was a Roman politician and senator. He was married to Domitia Lepida and thus stepfather of Valeria Messalina , the wife of Emperor Claudius . In the year 31 he held the office of consul together with Sextus Tedius Valerius Catullus as a suffect consul in the succession of the reigning emperor Tiberius at that time and thus reached the high point of his political career. In turn, he was replaced by Publius Memmius Regulus .
