Federación de los Trabajadores del Uruguay

The Federación de los Trabajadores del Uruguay was a Uruguayan workers' association.

It was one of the first labor movements in the country and was founded in 1885 under the influence of several anarchists who immigrated from Europe. The first beginnings of union organization structures in Uruguay were as early as 1865. Ten years later, the Uruguayan department of the First International was established .
