Reichold Feinkost GmbH, which operates on the market under the name Feinkost Dittmann and is based in Diez in Rhineland-Palatinate, is a German food manufacturer and marketer in the field of antipasti and delicatessen . The company is part and determining company of the Dittmann Group, which also includes Matithor GmbH and Timm und Thorsten Reichold GmbH.

The range of the group, which is 100% owned by the Reichold family, includes over 500 items in the branded area alone. With around 650 employees, production is carried out in six plants in Germany (at the Taunusstein site ) and abroad (Morocco, Spain, Greece and Turkey); four of the plants are owned by the company itself. The export department markets a wide range of delicatessen items in 26 countries.

history

On July 1, 1901, Karl Walter Dittmann founded the trade in Wiesbaden. In 1930 Leo Halbib became a partner and in 1952 took over the business completely. On July 1, 1965, Günter Reichold, a trained banker from Wiesbaden, joined the company at Dotzheimer Strasse 26 in Wiesbaden. At that time the annual turnover was 1.8 million DM. In 1971 the Feinkost Dittmann company became the property of the Reichold family.

Brands and products

The focus of the range is on Mediterranean antipasti such as olives, capers and anchovies, cooking oils and balsamic vinegars, as well as specialties for Asian cuisine. In addition to the brands under its own label, the company also operates as an importer. Feinkost Dittmann is the sole importer of the olive oils "La Española" and "Olyssos", as well as the vinegars of the brand "Emiliani" and the Asian brand "Real Thai". Own brands in the range are “Casa Deliziosa” (Italian antipasti), “Chi Wan” (Asian delicacies), “Ajolix” (marinated garlic specialties) and “Teufli” (peppers with cream cheese filling).
