Feldkircher Anzeiger

The Feldkircher Anzeiger is the community newspaper for the city of Feldkirch / Office of the city of Feldkirch. It has been published since 1809.

Naming

Since 1866 the newspaper has had the addition of “independent weekly newspaper with official announcements”. From 1870 to 1938 the Feldkircher Anzeiger carried the addition "Feldkircher Wochenblatt". Sometimes the addition “independent weekly newspaper with the official announcements of the city of Feldkirch” was also used.

Editor: In the imprint only Heinrich Graff (Dr., Red., Verl.) Appears at the beginning . From January 1894 Karl Haller and the Graffsche Buchdruckerei (Dr., Hrsg., Red., Finally also: Eig.) Are mentioned. The Anzeiger appeared weekly until 1912, then two to three times a week from 1912 to 1932, and finally every weekday from 1933 onwards. Until 1934 there was an anti-clerical influence in the Feldkircher Anzeiger. The actually apolitical weekly newspaper became part of the Nazi press in 1938. The Feldkircher Anzeiger was not published between 1941 and 1944. The format was held in 8 ° until 1888, then in 4 ° until 1911, then in 2 °.

The current publisher is RZ Regionalzeitungs-GmbH in Feldkirch, the editor is Reiner Kolb. Christian Marold, who was born in Feldkirch, is the leading editor. In 2013 Peter Bertole and his deputy Mathias Tavernaro took over the management.
